Would it be helpful to explain this way?
sentado/a(s) = seated; tumbado/a(s) = laid?
I have a Spanish grammar book that teaches this construction of the passive voice: ser + past participle + por... is this NOT correct? That same book does not mention using estar
In an A2 test the answer to "We gave the boys some sandwiches." was "nosotros dimos a los niños unos bocadillos".
I´m still learning indirect object pronouns, why doesn't this have "les" before dimos?
I did not see any discussion as to whether you can split the pronouns and put just one on the end of the infinitive/gerund:
Tengo un libro nuevo y me quierolo leer pronto.
Tengo un libro nuevo y lo quierome leer pronto. (pronoun ordering???)
Would either of these forms be acceptable?
Why is the translation la llegada de la primavera?
Why do I need a definite article in front of primavera?
fue reina de Castilla, Aragón y Navarra.
Here's the hint we gave you:Castile = Castilla, Aragon = Aragón, Navarre = Navarra, don't put any article in front of "queen", use El Pretérito Imperfecto
I have received no emails from Kwiziq in the last week. (notifications of new Q&A answers, daily announcements, etc.) is it just me?
