I really enjoy your reading practices. Good pacing and vocabulary complex enough for me to learn it well.
I thought the past participle of leer is leído. But the above example uses leídas. I have no knowledge of conjugating past participles. Please explain the usage. Thanks
On the MacBook how do I make the upside down question mark at the beginning of a question?
I choose both correct answers and also trabajas. What was it incorrect/
As an English speaker, it is very difficult to learn and apply indirect objects in Spanish.
I understand why you need les in the following sentence. It is because you are making dinner "for them." However is there an easy way to remember this construction when you are actually talking. I seem to understand it when I read it, but don't seem to be able to apply indirect objects when I try to speak. Is this common? How do I overcome it? It is like you are saying for them twice. Once as the pronoun "les" and once as "a nuestros invitados.
Nosotros les preparamos la cena a nuestros invitados. We are cooking dinner for our guests.
I looked on Wiktionary and noticed that ‘prediccion ‘ means ‘prediction’ in Spanish. When I took the quiz, why was ‘pronostico’ the correct answer?
Hola,
I was marked correct for putting "una marca español" when in fact it is an exception to the rule for adjectives ending in "L" per the lesson, and should be española.
Is it in fact optional?
Saludos. John
I have the following sentence: "La sospechosa fue interrogada por la mañana."
How is this tense called? Checking your nice overview https://spanish.kwiziq.com/spanish-tense-names here, I have guessed it to be one of the Los Pasados Progresivos forms https://spanish.kwiziq.com/spanish-tense-names - but it seems to be different by using "fue" and not "estar".
Any help would be appreciated.
