Subjunctive? or Indicative?

Subjunctive? or Indicative?

' We must take to the pharmacy all medication which has expired'

Could this not mean 'all medication which may have expired' and therefore be subjunctive?

Yes Thea, that sentence could be using the subjunctive too if we were talking about medicine that "may have expired" (we are not sure/we don't know), so, that would be:

Debemos llevar a la farmacia todas las medicinas que hayan caducado.

But we are giving a hint saying:

"The speaker knows that some medicine has actually expired"

So, this needs the indicative in this case.
