Does ¨reírse de¨ just means laughing at someone with ¨mockery¨ meaning, or it has another meaning?

Hi, the question is "Which of the following expressions are followed by the subjunctive?"

And the options are: Tememos que , Es incierto que, Es verdad que,Es cierto que.

I say confusing becasue in fact all 4 can be use with subjunctive but just becasue not all answers fall in doubt or uncertain, the system marked me wrong. Maybe you can consider changing the options?

"Cuando ella abra sus regalos en navidad a menudo tiene perfume."

This seems to describe something that has already happened many times.  So why is it subjunctive "abra" 

I use this site everyday it is helping me with my Spanish but there is a problem. I would very much like to kwiz this and other topics again, that I have difficulty with, but I am unable to. The glitch in this link/program will not let me reKwiz no matter how many times I try. To reKwiz would help me to learn but the program is broken. 

As Michael says, pronouns are not easy. 

But why add to our misery by adding the ‘insignificant’ note regarding the position of pronouns with infinitives, imperatives and gerunds. That’s surely worth a lesson all of its own.

I disagree strongly with the solution given on this question, and it seems to go directly against your own "quick lesson" if the answer is "era" -- the time frame is known and relevant because the palace was the home of a king with a specific reign, which would be known. Explícalo, por favor!

In the test question, "Rafael y Julio son unos chicos muy . . . ," The English translation omits the "some" (unos). I wonder why that was done. Was it to show that "unos" is always added in the given Spanish usage? I would be interested in any corresponding lesson.
