Os hierve la sangre del estrés en el trabajo
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Conjugate stem-changing -ir verbs in the present tense in Spanish (e > ie) (El Presente)"
Asked 3 years ago

Hola Peter
This sentence isn't using a verb in its reflexive form - this is the verb hervir plus an indirect object pronoun (os). If you turn it round the structure is easier to see:
La sangre os hierve del estrés. -->
La sangre (subject) os hierve (verb agreeing with subject) del estrés.
If you think of the structure that we use with doler, this is exactly the same:
Os duele la cabeza.
Your head hurts (you guys have a headache)
I hope this clarified it.
Saludos
Inma
