I am having a lot of trouble knowing which one of these to use. The explanations I have found don't make sense to me. For instance "haber estado" refers to something in the past that expresses movement. Then why, when I receive something from Amazon Mexico, does it say "Tu paquete ha sido entregado". ? Very confused about this and I can't find any coherent answers.

Oportunidad is a feminine noun. Why was it marked wrong when I wrote grande?  The correction was to gran. 

Why is it "Mi abuela sabia cocinar", but "Mi abuela supo cuidarme muy bien"?  Shouldn't both sentences be in imperfect tense? My assumption is that the action is descriptive and doesn't have a definite start or end.

What is the difference between these 2? Both are expressing action in progress but I'd like to be more clear about when we would use each.

What is the difference between Tengo catarro and tengo resfriado pls?

For this phrase;

Se necesitan médicos con experiencia en ese hospital.

My instinct would be to translate it as necesitan - the same as English 'they need - but I normally look at Spanish nouns like Hospital & Gente as singular - so I might say "se necesita médicos". What is up with my logic here? Ta
