In the example, ¿"Una iglesia"? ¿Qué es eso?, why is it eso and not esa?
Would the phrase "You used to go camping when you were young" be "tu solias a ir al campo cuando era pequena" instead of "tu ibas ir...."? Because the quiz said to use ibas.
Why whenever I use sobre in a sentence its followed only by 'la/el'? These examples are taken from the course I'm doing on Duolingo.
E.g. El gato esta sobre la mesa.
But if I use debajo its followed by 'de la/el'.
Mi celular esta debajo de la ropa.
Is there a reason for this?
Why does one use just 'la/el' but the other needs the 'de' to be marked correct?
I was wondering if there was a reply to his question below:
"didn't need to (infinitive) & needn't have (past participle) are used to express the lack of necessity in the past, ..."
I have just started learning about Preterito indefinido and found that one question in the test required a preterito imperfecto answer which I have not yet learned. It is rather confusing .
