Are there 2 adverbs cuándo and cuando? WordReference.com has both listed. I need an explanation on this for A1 beginner (me).
'He recommended (to me) investing in the stock market'
I put 'me ha recomendado que invertiera en bolsa' recomendar + imperfect subjunctive.
This was marked wrong and the only alternatives shown being recomendar + infinitive 'me ha recomendado invertir en bolsa'
Why can't I use the subjunctive here?
Gracias
Would it also be possible to use "Esos que" in this context?
For throughout the year you have suggested 'durante todo el ano but isn't al largo del ano also acceptable? (Sorry I could not type the tilde). Similarly sould you say ser recomendable as well as ser aconsejable for it is recommended?
Many thanks
Linda

why is tenido sometimes with an accent on the nand sometimes without. The correct answer for this question was with an accent wheras another question using tenido was without. My collins dictionary says without.
"quien había fallecido"
Just wondering, why is it que in the first example and quien in the second?
