Here is another example of the nonuse of an article in Spanish that I do not understand. "The city was an environmental model" is "la ciudad fue modelo ambiental" not "un modelo ambiental". I do not understand why there is no indefinite article like there is in English.

La segunda pregunta de la prueba dice:
Espero que ____ el avion a tiempo.
I hope that (we will get) the plane on time.
Elegí "tómaremos" en las opciones. Porque tomar en futuro de subjuntivo es esto - we will take.
Pero Kwiziq me dijiste que la opcion correcta es "tomemos". Pero esta opcion está en presente de subjuntivo - we take.
Puede explicarme por qué me equivico?

The test at the bottom of this lesson always marks the second answer wrong?
When we are referring back to people or persons in Spanish both words are feminine. So by translating, "for those arriving" it would have to be "las que llegan" no? If not what masculine word is "los" referring back to? Thanks.

las comunidades indígenas están reclamando que se les devuelva algunas piezas de museo, porque pertenecían a sus antepasados.
I'm slightly confused as to why this uses 'devuelva' and not 'devuelvan' given that it's 'algunas piezas' being returned and 'las comunidades indigenas' doing the demanding. Please could someone offer an explanation?

When should we use "Si" or "Como?"
With the sentence below, is it also ok to use Si? If not, why? Is it because Si triggers the subjunctive?

Is there a lesson or a table on conjugating these? Especially Traer could use some illumination in this regard, I don't recall seeing the kinds of conjugation as shown in the examples for traer. Thanks.
Do we also use a zero article when talking about other fundamental aspects of who we are? I am thinking of things like gender (I'm a woman; I'm a man) or familial identity (I'm a mom; I'm an uncle).
I am having trouble understanding the difference between "perderse" and "perder" in the context of missing an opportunity. For example, if you were talking to someone about not coming to a move with you, could you say "perdiste la oportunidad de ver la pelicula"? Could you also say "te perdiste la pelicula"? Would both of these be correct?
