I understand except for the last word "queráis    ".  I was expecting to see " queréis   " for the "you want" at the end.

Looking up queráis, I see that it is the present subjunctive and have read that it is used if there is a change in the subject.

I can't see a change in subject. The first part of the sentence has "you" as subject ans so does the second part.

I expect that I've missed something crucial here so please help me to understand.

there is this sentence = the deceased were only remembered on November 1st.

the answer is = solo se recordaba a los difuntos el primero de noviembre.

But is using acordarse acceptable as well? 

= solo se acuerdaba ?

second question is that, for a few years = unos pocos años or pocos años.

can we use unos cuentos años or un par de años?

i do not understand why one is preferred over the other.

How to I remove Latin America lessons from Dashboard?

Hi there, I have (belatedly) discovered Notebooks and am finding these a great way to test myself across different levels and hone in on my weak points. I've added a load of lessons, but it feels like it's focussing very much on the higher level (B2) ones. I want to interleave my practice with my weak points from A2 and B1 too. 

Question: how does it decide which lessons to test from a notebook? Is it random? Or based on your current %? Or something else? 

Also, I'd LOVE a feature where it just quizzes you from your weakest lessons *of those you have already been quizzed on*, across all levels. Basically that's what I'm trying to achieve. 

Does «media naranja» (soulmate) literally mean "orange sock"? How did this term for "soulmate" develop in Spanish culture?

In this sentence:  "Les lanzo la pelota y deben apagarla con las dos manos."  

I throw you the ball, and you must stop it with two hands.

I don't understand the use of 'Les" is it referring to 'you"?

I thought it stated that ninguna or ninguno could not be used with a nouns??

I can't speak for Europe or Australia but I can tell you that in the U.S. no one is ever going to say, "We've seen the singer sign autographs to the fans." The correct construction for this verb is to sign autographs FOR fans...not to the fans. If I heard someone say  this I would assume they were not a native speaker of English.
