The text says:
Desde entonces, hemos sido como uña y carne
In all the lessons with desde to mean 'since' we are told to use the present tense.
I put 'Desde entonces somos como uña y carne' but was marked wrong. What is the error here?
Gracias
Is there any problem with adding "se" to the verb "reír" here?
Please add “los anocheceres” to the lesson as an exception.
Only “Los amaneceres” is mentioned.
The question did not specify to use the tú or usted form, and in a later question, it did specify "tú." So I typed "leyó", but was marked wrong. I had "leiste" until I saw "tú" specified later, so I changed it. Either both should be right or it should be specified, to reduce frustration. I can see if you were talking to a family member or close friend (in an obvious context), then it should be expected to be "tú." But this was quite ambiguous- you could have loaned a book to a friend or a colleague or boss.
Hola,
Thank you for this lesson. I understand that ningun is used before a noun:
"No tengo ningun dinero para ir de compras hoy.";
"Ningun estudiante hizo la tarea."
My confusion is when concerning when to use "ningun" vs "ninguno"?
Saludos
It seems to me that this "HINT" is misplaced. The question seems clearly to be an if/conditional expression so what exactly is the point of the "wish/intention in the present"??
Hola!
Would a better translation be "it would be good if the bank gave us the loan" ?
Some examples use the verb “estar”. But can we ever use “ser”? Ex: “Mis primos fueron aburridos hasta que viajaron a españa.” Thanks.
