Can't most of these time markers also be used in the present tense? Does the heading mean that if the past tense is used, then it must be the Imperfect? For people like me who are easily confused, could the heading be revised to clarify?

In the sample sentences "¿Pudiste contactar con tu abogado?" and "¿Has podido contactar con Gabriel?" are there contextual clues that explain why one is indefinite and the other is perfect? Do they have different meanings? 

"Fastidiar" is another false friend. In English, to be "fastidious" is to be very attentive to detail, accuracy or cleanliness.

Would it be possible to translate "What more could I ask for?" as "¿Para lo que más podría pedir?

My dictionary gives "un fenómeno" - not "un fénomeno"?

Prefiero estudiar en un ambiente de inmersión.  ¿Sería posible cambiar la interfaz a español, como un opción para cada usuario?  

For the phrase 'and he even gave his opinion', would 'y incluso dio su opinion' be an acceptable answer?

The context seems like “i had written” which would be “había escrito” (?).
