one of the options was: quitarle importancia a los prooblemas. I can't undertand the le. Why not les, in order to correspond with the los problemas?

I used to think Spanish was an easy language, but that was before I actually started learning it earnest.
I am now at 17% in level BI. Although the program reports a steady increase in my confidence, I am hanging onto it by a thread. The difficulty of the language is increasing geometrically.. I don't even want to think about levels B2 and C1

I got the following question in a test:

Tuvimos muy buenas experiencias en ________ juventud.

We had very good experiences in our youth.

(HINT: Choose the right word having in mind the ending of the noun)

The two possible answers were twice "nuestra", but one of them is marked wrong when chosen.

Creo que la mujer no dice bien el "ir" de Irlanda.

I shouldn’t have been marked wrong by answering 2 questions just because I entered the word into the box that is to the right of the box. 

"... al diseño de una escafrandra estratosférica" misspells "escafandra" [putting in an extra 'r'] - and marks you wrong unless you misspell it in your answer! … It is correctly spelled when used again later in the passage... [I always tick the box: "Send email notifications of new answers" - but never receive any notifications?]

I'm just wondering why didn't you group pedir with competiir/servir into one lesson.  Their semi regular pattern with changes in the 3rd person only appear to be identical, and it would streamline the process.
