3. Mis amigos __ _______ ________________(venir) * a la fiesta de Roberto mi hermano.

There seems to be no pattern regarding when the nationality/adjective is -es or -as. In this question, it women are -es. In other questions, it is-as Nosotras vivimos en Dublin pero Sokos portuguesas. What am I missing?

Got an answer wrong on a test, they said it was ordenador, I was only familiar with it as computadora

I just wrote sonriais in a blank on a test and it marked my answer "almost right", and gave the right answer as "sonriáis".

Seria genial que añadieran preguntas de comprensión lectora al final de cada lectura. A mis estudiantes les encantarían!

Do you have to say "el almuerzo" instead of just "almuerzo"?
2.Salgo de casa a las ocho en punto.I leave the house at eight o'clock precisely.
why is it "casa" instead of "la casa"?

I was wondering why the preterit is used here and not the imperfect?  I would have thought that these  storms occurred throughout his journey, therefore the imperfect would be used?

I was wondering why the "present" tense is used in Spanish for "llamar" which is then translated in the future tense.  Why not llamaremos?

Después de la fiesta llamamos a un taxi.
After the party we will call a taxi.

The lesson doesn't seem to differentiate between these two words and the 2 quiz questions just require the same single word answer.  Is there anywhere that explains the differences in more detail please?
