Hello, why is suficiente after comida ? thanks !
Julián y tú ____quereis____ viajar por todo el mundo.
Is ´"tecnologías nuevas" wrong? I thought nueva could be put before or after the noun?
¿Porque se dice ambos, el presente perfecto (en otros textos) y el pretérito perfecto? Esto me confunde mucho... ¡Muchas gracias!
How would you say
I need (number) 400 to win.
Necesito el cuatrocientos para ganar.
Or
Necesito el cuatrociento para ganar.
Also, We need 14 and 20 to win.
Necesitamos los 14 y 20 para ganar.
Necesitamos el 14 y el 20 para ganar.
I'm having trouble with sentir and sentirse, sentir is what you feel and sentirse is how you feel. I put "I feel scared" in Spanishdict translator and it said "siento miedo" but in Kwizik "I feel emotional" is "ME siento emocionada". Unless Spanishdict is wrong, I can't see how I feel scared and I feel emotional are different?
I don't understand why the imperfect "Teníamos que llevar" is used and not the preterite. After studying again when to use imperfect, it would seem that this sentence is " We used to have to wear" or "We were having to wear", whereas "We had to wear" would be "Tuvimos que llevar". I can't see how the phrase "We had to wear protective hats" suggests it is ongoing and not completed. Obviously I'm wrong but I don't get it.
The exceptions are both words that describe places of origin. Is this a pattern or are these two examples that just happened to be place names. I can see three possibilities:
1) When you have a place of origin adjective (from Spain, from Analusia) you always use gendered plural endings.
2) When you use gendered plural endings for adjectives ending in z or l you always use gendered plural endings
3) It's just a coincidence in the examples and neither 1 or 2 is a pattern.
Which one of these cases is closest to being correct?
