All the examples are in the present tense. Can this work in other tenses also?
Wow! Question. How does: "en qué momento se me habrá ocurrido" come to mean: "I'm wondering why I thought this was a good idea"?
Is it a standard phrase for "Me pregunto por qué pensé que era una buena idea?"
Would "en qué momento pensé que era una buena idea?"work?
Hello,
For hours around noon/midnight, in Spanish, is "mediodía" only used for noon sharp? Or is it also used with "menos/y + minutes"? For instance, for 12:30 PM, would you say "Es mediodía y media" or is it best to say "Son las doce y media"?
Same for "medianoche".
When is tiempo used?
Ricardo come con su familia dos veces a la semana
hum thinking about al mes and a la semana wondering why
How would you say, "I am proud of myself" and "I will do it myself"?
the answer is using las tartas que son...
but why cant we use this-¡Qué exquisito son las tartas de Marta! The fill in the blank read "Mi prima __________ Miss Universe." The interpretation read " My cousin was Miss Universe" I don't see why era should be considered incorrect. She was (past tense) implies that she no longer is, hence she used to be. I have seen many sentences like "Cuando era niña..." translated as when I WAS girl. As the sentence stands, either fue or era should be accepted. To be honest, I think era is a more accurate description.

In the test question, How would you say "I have eaten only fruit for a week."?, the answer was Desde hace una semana solo como fruta.
But I chose Desde hace una semana solo he comido fruta. Why isn't that one correct, given the "have eaten?"
