Why do we use por que and not para que in the sentence 'Puse todo de mi parte por que no termináramos separados'

Mi hermano tiene ________ perros. 

My brother has many dogs.

In this quiz I put "muchos" however I got it wrong as it said the correct answer is "muchas". Which word is feminine in this sentence? 

In your explanation above under "careful", the original sense used "acabamos con" but the follow-up explanation used "nos acabamos". Are they interchangeable? 

Hi, in one of the quizzes, the answer to this question:

This is marked wrong with continúa as the answer (my answer), yet continúa is the correct answer for the present tense and according to your own "help" text. There seems to be a lot of sloppy "teaching" in Progress Spanish lately.

In one of the quizes  engish scentence "After the blow, you didn't remember anything" one is asked to conjugate recordar in the El Pretérito Imperfecto tense.  I used "recordaba" but this was marked as incorrect.  recordabas was marked as corrrect. Why is the "You formal" conjugation not correct for the above scentence? 

While experimenting with nunca in negative sentences for a while, my instinct kept telling me to include the definite article in one particular construction, where it would not be required in any of the others. 

ie. Never eat sweets before dinner (imperative)

= No comas nunca LOS dulces antes de la cena

Could you clarify for me 1) if the article is actually required here at all, or 2) if it could be used correctly as an option.

I find the interactive options on this exercise brilliant. Listening, clicking on phrases, getting a translation all work seamlessly. Also the narrative is straight forward, relevant and a great introduction (for me) to the subjunctive. The Lawless method is really good. Being able to click into explanatory teaching materials straight from the phrases is so helpful. It makes learning easy. Thanks!
