"siendo su cifra ofical de habitantes de …. personas "

hola

does this literally mean " its official number of inhabitants being xxx personas" ?

I am confused with the word order: can you also say " su cifra oficial siendo.xxx.." ?

I feel putting " siendo" at the beginning demands a number first . Such as " xxx siendo su cifra"

Could you elaborate ?

Question about Cuyo

From what I have learned from searches, is that :"cuyo" is always an adj, even though in English and French they are pronouns.

So, is this correct: "cuyo" is always an adj,"

Two meanings?

That sentence "yo huelo siempre bien" translates to I always smell good.

"huelo" in this sense means for the subject to have a scent, not like "I always smell something good"

The sentence "nosotros olemos las rosas del jardín" translates to we smell the roses in the garden.

in this sense, "olemos" means to physically perceive a smell

So it has two meanings kind of like how it does in English, am I understanding this right?

2 questions on Mediterranean climate

Hi, I have a couple of questions on this exercise:

1) The average temperature was 16 degrees

Kwizbot La temperatura media fue de 16 grados
You La temperatura media fue de 16 grados.

You could also say: La temperatura media era de 16 grados

Hi, I don’t understand how either “fue” and “era” can be used here.

Also would my sentence be acceptable? If not, why not?

2) and it was very nice to stroll down the street.

Kwizbot y fue muy agradable pasear por la calle.
You y fue muy agradable ir de paseo a través la calle.

Is my answer acceptable? and if not, why not?

You don't say unos dinero

Am I correct in understanding that the use of Unos/as is for countable nouns (pears, sunglasses, cellphones... etc)? For non countable nouns such as money, salt, or sugar, you would use a different word to say some?
