Please explain why the example "Nos han dado de beber porque ..." is not written as
"Nos han dado de berber a nosotros porque estábamos exhaustos...".
In other words, why is the "a" missing in that particular example?
Gracias,

Would not invoke the subjunctive would it? The test answer to this question says that it dies.
el cerebro se remodela literalmente en función de lo que hacemos cada día
Why isn't this 'de lo que hagamos?' As it doesn't refer to a specific activity and seems very hypothetical it looks the perfect candidate for a subjunctive.
Gracias
The translation that is suggested seems a word-for-word translation:
…pintó el último de ellos a la edad de 90
Shouldn't the following be one of the accepted alternate options?
…pintó el último de ellos a los 90
I guess this is an error (the translation):
Es imprescindible que hayamos entendido esta lección.
It was essential that we understood this lesson.
--> It is essential that we understood this lesson.
Otherwise a different form has to be used in the spanish sentence.
I chose " caliento" because "abrigo" is masculine. Why is "clienta"?
