i am confused. there is another lesson that uses deber in perfect tense and deber in present + haber to indicate assumption that something must have happened that is expressed by the main verb as infinitive or past participle. This lesson seems to be speaking of the same thing until the last part that says
Eso debe de haber caducado hace tiempo
That must have expired some time agoI am confused by this 2 very similar lessons. may you point out the differences to me?
how do I use such structure to say something must had been done as in an assumption in the past?
Why: que había muchas opciones rather than: que hay muchas opciones or even subjunctively: que haya muchas opciones?
It was very interesting to learn about the exams for public sector jobs in Spain. Good range of vocabulary and verb tenses. The native speaker was appropriately paced and clear for B1. Thank you for this exercise.
Despite the considerable damage inflicted is translated as:
A pesar del hecho de que se produjeron numerosos daños
Is it possible to say 'A pesar de que se produjeron numerosos daños'?
The first one sounds like a literal translation of 'despite the fact that' and very formal
If both are correct which is the most natural?

Which tenses do these 3 forms represent? I suppose one is the usual conditional tense
Podemos usar yo de ti en vez de yo que tú aqui? Intentó "yo de ti" pero estuvo marcado como error. ?Por qué?
