Hello! Por or para: the eternal question, right? I'm wondering about the phrase "for future generations" in the final sentence. If that phrase were interpreted as "for the benefit of future generations" or "for the sake of future generations," would "por" be correct? Or is "para" the only correct option regardless? Thank you!

1) Just wondering if "las ciencias medioambientales" is the most common way to say environmental sciences? The online dictionary I used suggested "la ciencia ambiental".
2) Can you use "así" in place of "de esta manera" in the sentence: "cree que de esta manera podrá ayudar..."?
Why is "of the mountains" not translated as "del montañas"?
Could a correct translation option also be "En la madrugada"?

Could the above sentence be written without 'sobre'? As it would then be similar to the English sentence. If not what difference does sobre make to the meaning of the sentence?

Wouldn´t some other options for "appetizer" include: entrante, aperitivo, entrada?
For "main course": plato principal, plato fuerte
for "some": algunos/algunas as in "algunas buenas verduras"
In this example:
La familia de María está contenta. María's family are happy. [U.S: is happy]
Está is singular, so wouldn't it also be translated as "is"?
