En la segunda oración... ¿Solo puede ser (como dado en la traducción), o puede ser también ?
Because... the English given was "Finally we are going on a cruise" (literally, "Por fin vamos de crucero"); and of course "Por fin vamos a ir de crucero" would literally be "Finally we are going to go on a cruise". I understand that the meaning underneath the use of the present tense English translation that was given indicates a future event; I'm just hoping for clarity about the correctness or acceptability of using the present tense in Spanish in this case. Thank you!
I am just wondering why some -ir and -erverbs use -iendo and the other take -yendo. Does it have to do with the double vowel? Like -uir -aer -eer?
How would you answer these questions?

Minor comment: your word bank at the beginning of the exercise included the word "pellizco". The exercise used "pizca". I assume that they are interchangable?
My Spanish verbs book was silent on the verb, "cocer", also my Spanish-English dictionary, so I looked it up online.

One of hints is to "use the EN phrase order". What does that mean?

The problem with saying 'either no longer true or not relevant' here creates a grey area because normally if we understand a condition to not be relevant, we would use the imperfecto, surely? See the first question in the quiz for example.
