Does the use of the subjunctive change the meaning from “we feel” to “we’re sorry”?
Example:
Nosotros sentimos que no vengas con nosotros.
We're sorry that you're not coming with usThese are words are relative pronouns, but can they ever be used in a question as an interrogative pronoun? I assume that function is reserved for Cuál and Cuáles without el-lo-la-las.
Next, could "cuáles" be used in this quiz sentence: Voy a preguntar a la dependienta ________ lavadoras son más eficientes. trying to ask: which ones of these washing machines are more efficient?
In the kwiz, there was a phrase to complete: "Me vi tentada ..." I had selected tentado instead of tentada, which was marked wrong. The thing was that there was no indication, neither in the sentence itself or in the instructions, that the speaker was female. Why then would "Me vi tentado..." be incorrect?
I am confused by when to use éstas with a tilde and when not to. And would this sentence work without using either? Just saying ...zonas de ocio sino que también permiten a la población...
Además, las zonas verdes no son consideradas exclusivamente como zonas de ocio sino que éstas también permiten a la población estudiar horticultura.Cuando sea mayor, seré médico. When I am older, I will be a doctor.Cuando vayas al mercado compra fruta y verdura. When you go to the market, buy fruit and vegetables.
Also, when the subjunctive is used is it always part of the cuando clause?
¿Querías que te ayudara con tus deberes?Did you want me to help you with your homework?
Throughout the exercise the hint directs you to use the 'tú' conjugation of the verbs, but the answer provided each time uses third person singular conjugation.
