Word bank in beginning? Also verb Cocer.

Greetings!

Minor comment:  your word bank at the beginning of the exercise included the word "pellizco".  The exercise used "pizca".  I assume that they are interchangable?

My Spanish verbs book was silent on the verb, "cocer", also my Spanish-English dictionary, so I looked it up online.

Love learning new words.  Thank you for exposing us to them.

Hola Kaly

The word that should have been included in the introduction for words to look up was "pizca" not pellizco, so that's been corrected. Thanks for alerting us.

Pellizco and Pizca are synonyms though in that context to express "a tiny quantity of some ingredient" so you can say that you add "una pizca de sal" or "un pellizco de sal". Bear in mind that the general meaning of pellizco is a "pinch" but in the sense of "pinching the skin", in a loving way (what your grandma would do) or a nasty way (like when kids or sibblings are fighting, and you're left with a bruise, that kind of pinch).

As for "cocer", it's used for "to boil" or sometimes for "to cook". Here's the entry at Collins dictionary

Glad to hear you enjoy learning new words through our exercises.

Saludos

Inma
