Quiza/tal vez or a lo mejor

Hi, In the last sentence, could you replace tal vez etc with a lo mejor, and if so, would this then take the indicative or still the subjunctive?

Mis manos vs las manos

"Yo sumerjo mis manos en el agua." Why is it "mis manos" rather than "las manos"? Thanks.

Checked two dictionaries and they show accent over the e? Optional? Changed rule? Checked another dictionary no accent. Regional?

Why “fría” not “frío”?No_tengo ganas de______ bañarme en el mar ahora. El agua está fría.

I’m confused, agua is masculine but the adjective is feminine (fría).

alguno vs algunos, alguna vs algunas

There seem to be a lot of confusion around this subject. especially when using the word 'some.'

Could you please explain the difference illustrated in these two examples.

Tengo muchas postales de Venecia, ¿quieres algunas?
I have many postcards from Venice, do you want some?

He imprimido nuestras fotografías del viaje, ¿quieres ver alguna?
I have printed the pictures of our trip, do you want to see some?

And just as an aside, the sentences in English should be separated by either a semi-colon or a period, not a comma. When a comma is used to separate two independent clauses, it's called a comma splice or a run-on sentence. I'm not trying to be a know-it-all. This is in the spirit of having the best grammar.

Difference between 'pocas + noun in plural' and 'Unos pocos/unas pocas + nouns in plural'

I am a little confused with the following quiz sentence/ answer: 'Tardé pocas horas en hacerlo.', for which the correct answer is 'pocas horas'. Why wouldn't 'unas pocas horas' also be correct?

Porque at start of sentence

Would it be correct to use Porque at the start of a sentence....e.g. instead of

Como estoy enfermo, no voy a ir al trabajo hoy.

Porque estoy enfermo, no voy a ir al trabajo hoy

Difference between tratar and tratar de?

Might be a stupid question, but i dont really understand the difference between when to use “tratar” and “tratar de”..? Thank you!
