Could you share the link where you list all the possible/different names of the verb tenses?
Hello! I often see the verb imaginar used in its reflexive form. Would ‘imaginarse’ be correct in this context as well? Thank you!
Thank youShirley
I chose "Mientras que yo hice la compra" for the mini kwiz which was wrong. But one of the example sentences uses the indefinite: "Su romance fue bonito mientras duró." I guess I'm unclear about why the indefinite was wrong on the kwiz.
Also, for the sense of "mientras" meaning "as long as", could we substitute "si"?
If está is followed by an adjective & hay by a noun, why is it 'hay niebla' rather than 'está niebla'?
We would be delighted if you dined with us on Christmas Eve.
(HINT: you=vosotros)
cenéis
cenaríais
cenarais
cenasteis
The correct answer is evidently #3, but I don't understand how it's being conjugated.
Puse solo la mitad de la harina en el bol.
I only put half the (quantity of) flour in the bowl.
Ella tiene el doble de hermanos que él.
She has twice as many siblings as he does.
Why is it de LA harina, but not de LOS hermanos? Is the definite article always skipped after doble de? There was a quiz question for "________ tiempo" meant to be filled with doble. Would it be "el doble de" or "el doble del"?
fui a malaga por/en avion
Do both of these work?
I always thought ´por´ was correct/more used?
Hola Inma,
