I have some questions

Hi,

1. There's a typo in the hint of this sentence: the aforementioned custom came from the Romans. HINT: custom = constumbre

It should be costumbre.

2. In this sentence: there were very twisted people who thought that than the blood of old gladiators could cure epilepsy in many patients I suppose this than shouldn't be here.

3. Why is subjuntivo imperfecto used in this sentence instead of indicativo imperfecto?

los gatos fueron los que corrieron la peor suerte ya que eran considerados como enviados del diablo

Is it because the reason that those cats were judged is a hypothesis?

Hola Wenli

Thanks for letting us know; those typos have been corrected.

With reference to 3. I'm not sure what you mean by using the imperfect indicative instead of the subjunctive. There is no subjunctive used, they are the preterite "fueron" and corrieron "  and then the passive in the imperfect "eran considerados"..., but no subjunctive tense. Are you maybe getting confused with some of the endings?

Saludos
