Why is the answer to the quiz question "Laura y Pedro vieron sangre roja en la pared" and not "Laura y Pedro vieron roja sangre en la pared"?
The lesson says that the adjective goes BEFORE the known if it is emphasizing that quality, and the hint for the question is "HINT: The adjective "red" has an emphatic nuance and red is the colour of blood"
Wow, this one is tough for B1. Lots of options for word choices regarding more complex activities, especially when it is more specialized to extreme outdoor actities. The hints are widely variable, but mostly quite limited. That´s ok, but this exercise feels more like a B2 or C1 exercise, or else put in more hints. I think A2 and B1 students will be discouraged after attempting this one.

Wrong: ¿Queréis que Juan recite un poema?
Correct: ¿Queréis que Juan recita un poema?
Por favor, y veo que hay otras preguntas en este tema abajo, pero cómo deberíamos contestar de forma binario/a cuando ambas opciones son correctas? Me molesta un poco que aparece que no se puede contestar a la pregunta y conseguir una respuesta correcta. ¿No deberia una tercera alternativa - ´no importa´ o ´se depende en la región o el país´?
You make this construction unnecessarily complicated. The conditional is used here simply because even the future event is stated conditionally: so-and-so “would” do such-and-such. It’s a perfect parallel to the English conditional.
"Le hemos explicado a ella el problema." Seems redundant. Is it a special case, or a constant rule?
Buenas días
I understand Afectar is a transitive verb, which requires a direct object (without a preposition).
I saw these sentences:
La nueva ley no afecta al pequeño empresario.
La falta de oxígeno afecta al cerebro.
I'm curious to know why these two sentences use a preposition "a".
Muchas gracias
In view of the explanation of "ir" vs. "irse" in this lesson, how would one contrast "irse" vs. "salir"
I saw this in an article on the BBC about direct and indirect object pronouns.
Escuchamos al cantante.
Le escuchamos.
Is that corrrct? I don’t get why we'd use the indirect object pronoun here. What is the direct object in this case?
