I think I can understand why "... se puede ver a las ballenas jorobadas retozando, coqueteando ..." is correct - [meaning: "... one can see the humpback whales ...", or "... you can see ..."] - after reading your Kwiziq lessons " Using se debe/se puede to say You must/you can (impersonal sentences) " [number 6933] and " Expressing instructions and general statements in Spanish with the impersonal se = one " [number 5132].
However - under 'Your Practice', you recommend the lesson " Forming the Spanish passive with se (la pasiva refleja) " [number 6089] - which seems more consistent with this answer: "... se pueden ver las ballenas jorobadas"? (i.e. with 'pueden' in the plural, and without the "a" [before the 'las']). Would this^ be a correct way of saying "... the humpback whales can be seen ..."?

Why wouldn't "cómo está" be a correct answer? Wouldn't it be formal when speaking to a parent?

It's not clear which preposition to use with quien for Whose, For Whom / To Whom and With Whom?
Is the below correct?
Whose = de quien
For Whom / To Whom = para quien
With Whom = con quien
For this lesson, would it be correct to say that you generally conjugate the verbs ending in "ar" to "aba" (e.g. hablar becomes hablaba) and that you conjugate verbs ending in "er" and "ir" to "ía" (e.g. soler becomes solía)?
Hello,
I have come across this: "haber hecho" as in:
"After having done this... Después de haber hecho esto... "
and searched here for this structure and found this lesson, but not this form for "haber hecho" nor did I find anything online except one site calling it an idiom.
I was wondering what part of speech "haber hecho" is, I can't find it as a tense and have not been able to find its grammatical term. I don't think this is an "idiom". Thanks for your help in claryfing this.
