I don't see anywhere in the lesson that the "que" can be omitted. I don't think the sentence looks right either. 

This one to me does not mean 'to want someone to', but 'to want something done'. So I think, 'Todos queremos el problema se resuelva pronto' is enough.

Estoy wondering que es la differencia entre Español spoken ayer than in Latin American. I know  “ll” is a hard L ( ama-re-lia) instead of a soft double LL as used in la palabra “amarillo” in Latin America. What are some other differences? 

I thought I had understood all of the Gustar verbs, but this lesson was a great help, especially the "subject in the infinitive" nugget and all of the yellow box.

I can see how "lugar" might be used to signify: taking "place" (tener lugar) but surely the intent is that the occasion will "occur" rather than being placed somewhere? Would not "ocurrir" be a better verb? Esto ocurrirá entre . . . and why "esta" instead of "esto" or even "este"? It is an "evento", no? 

And "habrá lugar para nuevos creadores"? It's as though "lugar" is being used as an easy substitute for better word choices.

What is IFEMA?

I believe that "escaparate" is like a "vitrina" which is an object, whereas the event, as a "highlight", might be considered to be "el último en moda" or "gran destacado de la moda española".

I feel as though I'm missing the point somehow. Nevertheless, it's a thought-provoking article for vocabulary.

On a quiz question, my answer was marked wrong because I read "que se vaya" (irse) as "go away" instead of "is".  This seems wrong to me.  Irse means to GO away, not to BE away.  The suggested answers don't even test the difference between "por mi" and "para mi".

What does "Por mí que se vaya bien lejos." mean?

I didn't want him to be far away.

I don't care if he is far away.

He went away just for me.

In my opinion he should go far away.
