In the example La pájaro vuela sobre tu cabeza, why is it "tu" cabeza. I thought when talking about body parts and clothing we should use the definite articles rather than the possessive adjectives.
Is usamos wrong here instead of llevamos?
In the test the question is "Coloca las plantas _____ sol." I understand that "al" is the correct answer as far as a contraction, but why do you use "a" in this instance? Why is it not "en el sol"?
Could I say "era" instead of "fue" as it is a part of description?
I've read so many times about the difference between these tenses but It's like banging my head against a wall. "el taxi LLEGÓ veinte minutos tarde y el taxista ERA muy antipático. The taxi driver was unfriendly in the imperfect tense in the same taxi that arrived late in the preterite tense. This is so difficult.

How would I express something like:
"They are my dad's"
Would it be:
"Son de mi padre"
Ser is a verb and I'm not sure if it can be used with the preposition "de" like this or if this is a common way to express "they are" in Spanish. Could you use the pronouns: este, esta, estos, estas, ese, esos, esa, esas?

Checked two dictionaries and they show accent over the e? Optional? Changed rule? Checked another dictionary no accent. Regional?
So can this same construction be used with nunca, but just not with the same level of emphasis?
