Hi all,
I have been given one week free from this website. Will I be automatically charged if I don't actively cancel the 'free 7 days'??
Hola,
As a matter of interest, what would the difference in meaning be if 'por' were substituted for 'para'.
The online translator I use says that they are the same.
Gracias.
Colin
In the Yucatan in Mexico, I have heard el derecho for straight ahead. It is quite confusing with 'la derecha' for the right. Todo recto is much better!
The word "la" is missing in the phrase "la fauna y __ flora."
El turista espera que los autóctonos le traten bien durante su estancia.
Doesn’t “le” mean “to/for” him?
Thank you,
Shirley.
Hi!
I think if the English was restructured for a few of the examples, the distinction between haber/tener would be clearer. Essentially the past participle would be moved towards the end of the sentence while placing the object after have/has.
For example: You have two rooms painted. Marta and I have a trip to Egypt planned.
Thanks!
For the phrase 'and he even gave his opinion', would 'y incluso dio su opinion' be an acceptable answer?

To enjoy? Do you mean disfrutar?
Desgustar is not in my dictionary.
Disfruté mucho este video. Me encantó ver todas las cosas coloridas, la música, el arte y las cosas maravillosas que hacen los artesanos. Especialmente me encantó ver el baile tradicional. Me parece que la atmósfera allí es muy emocionante.
Este es también un gran ejercicio con un montón de texto para digerir.
Muchas gracias Shui y un saludo :)
