"Tu coche no es muy nuevo aunque funcione/funciona estupendamente. (Your car is not very new although it works beautifully.)"
I chose the subjunctive "funcione" here because both the speaker and the listener would know about the car. But this was marked wrong. Why would the indicative be correct?
PS I just read your answer below that the speaker is simply making a declaration. In that case, how do we distinguish this from the case of the speaker stating shared information? It seems that both answers could be correct depending on how one interprets the speaker. This makes it hard to know which answer the system considers to be correct.
El articulo explica como paso el dia, porque ce celebra, y como. Una cosa es que se origino en Mesoamerica prehispanica. Otra cosa es que celebran para recordar la familia muerta. Ce celebra dos dias. El primer dia se acen altars, o visitan el cementerio. El segundo dia se dice que la familia muerta regresa por un dia. En final, celebran con comida, musica, photos, altars, y ofrendas.
Yo no celebro Dia de los Muertos. Pero en mi opinion es dia importante. Yo tengo amigos que celebran. Es dificil perder familia y por eso ce celebra. Yo aprendi de mis amigos que tambien es dia para que se junten la familia y celebrar que estan juntos. En final, es dia bueno, es dia importante, y es dia hermoso.
In a quiz, I wrote "Estamos adentro de la sala." and it got marked wrong. It said that the only correct answer was "Estamos dentro de la sala." In the notes on this topic, it says that "adentro" and be used for "inside a place" but not for "inside a thing". It seems like "la sala" is a place. Why is it wrong to use "adentro" in this case?
It appears from your examples that “se” is optional, although I don’t see that explicitly stated. For example, “ Ayer me depilé las piernas.” doesn't have “se” in it.
The time is last month, why don't we use Era posible and lead to other hubiera PP?
