Sentence: “Ella dijo que habían problemas en el trabajo.”
Why is “habían” used and not “había”?
Is it because “problemas” is plural?

No hay nada tal selección de "Conjugate "decir" in El Pretérito Perfecto Subjuntivo". Todos los subjuntivo artículos de las listas son El Presente Perfecto Subjuntivo.

Why is "Yo he visto a tu madre esta mañana" more correct than " vi a tu madre esta mañana" for "I saw your mother this morning"?
why do we use preterito perfecto compuesto for 'I saw' and 'I found', i thought 'i found' would be encontre and 'I saw', yo vi not he contrado and he visto. thanks!
