Ellos proveyeron de alimentos a los damnificados.
They provided food to the victims.
Where does the 'de' come from here?
ThanksEl smoking es tan elegante como el frac.
I find this example strange, can you check the audio to ensure it matches? I am having trouble with "smoking" how would that be pronounced? Ess-mo-keng? I guess this word is just throwing me for a loop
Can you please explain why there is an accent on the e in imperative of 3rd person of sentir.
To me the syllabification prior to adding the se are sien.te. As the word ends in neither an a,s or n the accent falls on the last syllable ie “te”. Therefore, after the se is added should the accent not fall on the té?
Hola soporte,
I'm struggling a little bit to get my head around the bold section: He estado de viaje y me ha encantado todo
I guess it means 'to myself, it has enchanted me all (I have loved it all)'?
But because in my English head I think it looks strange (lo/le he encantado todo seems more natural), do you have any other lessons on expressing maybe the love, like stuff with the pronoun, so that I can get my head round it.
Muchas gracias,
Note that the construction tal vez (maybe) accepts the indicative and the subjunctive moods with no change in meaning.
What do you mean with the "maybe" after tal vez?
I had this question in a test and got it right, but I thought I read somewhere that the subjunctive is suppose to have a change of subject, but it is not true in this case (creo=yo, sepa=yo). Can you help to clarify? Thank you.
No creo que yo ________ nada hasta las diez.I don't think I will know anything until ten o'clock.HINT: Conjugate "saber" in El Presente SubjuntivosepaI'm new to this Spanish learning service and there's so about this that I really like - however - this is very very Europe focused. So much so that it blows my mind. I recognize that any Spanish learning is a good thing but it does add to my already considerable frustration with learning Spanish that I'm learning things that seem useless to me at this point. SO - is there a mod that can be activated to make this service more Latin America facing? AND shouldn't there be some up front notification that this is a program that is rooted in Spanish from Spain - which isn't what everyone wants.
I don't understand why I am told that it should be "Alberto llora MUY a menudo".
Everything; the lesson included; tells me it should be "mucho".
