I understand what generally triggers the subjunctive....

But in this specific example of the Preterito Perfecto Subjuntivo....

Cuando hayas hecho tus deberes puedes ir a jugar fuera.

Is it incorrect to also use.....

Cuando has hecho tus deberes puedes ir a jugar fuera.

Just curious if they are interchangeable in their use. Thank you.

¡Hola Nelson! With "cuando" you can use both moods. If you use the indicative, it is a fact, whereas if you use the subjunctive it refers to a future intention. I can see that in this lesson all usages refers to future intentions because we are using the subjunctive especifically. However, all the examples could alternatively use the indicative too but with a different meaning. I hope this helps! Silvia.

Hola Silvia,

Sí, ahora lo entiendo perfectamente. ¡Muchisimas gracias!
