There is a question/answer set that may need attention, unless I'm really having a memory lapse!
The question is...
Which sentence reaffirms the fact that he does know about it:
Conforme lo sepa. The answer choices are...
En cuanto lo sepa.
Sí yo lo supiera.
Sí que lo sé.
...with "Sí que lo sé" being marked as correct.
Again, unless I'm really forgetting something here... I think either the question should be...
"Which sentence reaffirms the fact that you do know about it:"
...OR the correct answer should be:
Sí que lo sabe.
If I am forgetting something here, I will be happily corrected/reminded!
I've been wondering about this topic because I've heard people using "todos l@s" around town. Thanks for the thorough explanation.
I understand why:
"¡Ya estás pidiendo disculpas a tu hermano!"
is correct, but I don't understand why:
"Pidas disculpas a tu hermano is wrong."
thanks,
R
we will offer you the most romantic experience ever = os ofreceremos la experiencia romántica jamás vista
In the lesson the structure always includes más or mejor.
Should it be os ofreceremos la experiencia más romántica jamás vista?
Gracias
Hola,
I have a particular interest in art, so I enjoyed doing this exercise. Yet, I have to agree with David that this lesson was possibly more challenging than the AI level.
I needed to listen to the measurements several times because I was unfamiliar with the use of "veinte coma dos" for example. (Although, I should have guessed, since this is similar to the French use of a comma instead of a decimal point.) After the first measurement, I was able to understand the second one. A good learning experience for me. I am coming back to Spanish, and have a lot to review and much more to learn for the first time.
May I suggest that there is a link to a lesson about numbers with decimals?
Gracias y Saludos
Why is the imperfect, "tenía que" used instead of maybe the subjunctive "tenga que" or the conditional "tendría que"? In the story it's an action she hasn't yet done, no?
I saw this in an article on the BBC about direct and indirect object pronouns.
Escuchamos al cantante.
Le escuchamos.
Is that corrrct? I don’t get why we'd use the indirect object pronoun here. What is the direct object in this case?
I answered this as "estan pidiendo"
But the exam says the right answer is "piden".
Isn't "estan pidiendo" more accurate answer?
my answer was wrong - am I correct in thinking that it is because el número is singular and therefore you don't use the plural disminyeron for the plural accidentes
