Inside my notebook, I tried to take a quiz, but it said, go to your notebook to take the quiz as many times as you like, so I went to the notebook again and got the same message. Is this a glitch? Or am I doing something wrong?
What is the problem with either Pónselos allí OR Se los pon allí ?? Both are grammatically correct yet it seems sometimes that these "tests" go out of their way to make responses more difficult an obcure than they should be.
I have a Spanish grammar book that teaches this construction of the passive voice: ser + past participle + por... is this NOT correct? That same book does not mention using estar
Hi, in this example:
Ojalá encuentren la medicina adecuada para tratar su enfermedad.I wish they found the right medicine to treat his illness.
Doesn't the Spanish say "I hope they find the right medicine to treat his illness."? That is, "ojalá encuentren" is in the present tense expressing a hope, not the past tense expressing a lament ("I wish they (implied: had) found.")
I still can't get it right when to use the definite article. La televisión or just televisión? Television in general? It's always a 50-50 guess for me.
Why does sentence need A at the beginning? (The other examples don’t have it).
Thanks very much
Shirley
For these three examples, wouldn't it be:
¿Tú no te sientes nada por ella?
Vosotros os sentís un gran amor por la naturaleza.
Él se siente una gran alegría.
Why is there 'le' for 'Tú le das el biberón a tu hijo' but not for 'Él da una carta a su hermana', 'Ustedes dan mucho dinero a la gente pobre', 'Vosotras dais los billetes de avión a la azafata', and 'Nosotros damos dinero a organizaciones de caridad'?
