I thought you don't need to use the personal a with animals although it's commonly used with pets. Is that so? So couldn't it be "vio los elefantes"?

Can I say bien interesante here? Also, why isn’t regreso a casa correct? 

So can i use que and cual interchangeably eg 
Mis vecinos, quienes tienen tres hijos, son muy ruidosos.

Mis vecinos, que tienen tres hijos, son muy ruidosos.

Do all ordinal numbers ending in 1/3 undergo the change? I understand the first word will not  (decimoprimero or  vigésimo tercero  will  NOT be decimprimero or vigésim tercero),, BUT  the second (primero/tercero) does?? 

Ex/ decimoprimer.

In the quiz, I selected "Había muchos niños en el parque." This was marked wrong, rather, "Hubo muchos niños en el parque." 

I'm wondering why my answer was marked wrong, given that one of the examples in the lesson is nearly identical to my answer: "Había un perro en el parque."

Do all numbers ending in 1 and 3 (11, 13, 21, 23, 31, 33) change when before masc sing nouns?  Or just for 1 and 3

I am confused as to why this sentence is ordered in this way. Why does Los siguientes platos precede son muy populares?
