confusing tenses.

Should the test questions note that the answer should be for Spain vs Central/South America?

Hola Ann M.

Thank you for your question!

Since this is a Latin American-focused lesson, the answers should be chosen based on Latin American usage rather than Spain.

We recommend keeping this in mind when selecting answers to avoid confusion.

Un saludo

I also think it would be a good idea to mark this explicitly and consistently, even though these lessons match the chosen focus. You never know in which way students stumble upon this and I have already seen a few questions and confusion about it. Explaining why it is confusing won't fix this. Also, it might contradict what they have already learnt elsewhere, so remembering them about these differences won't hurt. It doesn't even have to be disruptive or making things overly complicated – a little mention in the explanations or maybe even just a little marker in the UI should suffice. (Sometimes I already see a red banner on European Spanish lessons, but I'm not sure if it's always that unambiguous.)
