I don't understand the first example:

                         Lo he visto a él primero, y después a ella.

I understand the 'lo' to match the 'a él', but why doesn't the 'a ella' have a corresponding 'la'?

You have the same mistake here as I pointed out in the lesson about tener + participio. You refer to it being similar to haber plus infinitive rather than participio

You say that Felipe was succeeded as king of Spain by his son Carlos. That is incorrect. Carlos was mentally unstable and conspired against his father by supporting the protestants in the Netherlands. He was imprisoned in 1568 and died the following year. Felipe was succeeded by his second son Felipe 111

One of the lessons included things that were happening in the past but are still ongoing. Instead of the present perfect, it included the present tense and then something else (it was not this lesson). Could you tell me where that lesson is or explain it to me? Thanks.

What is the difference between these two sentences?

Las fresas habían estado siendo recolectadas.

Las fresas habían estado recolectadas.

If they both mean 'The strawberries had been collected.', under what circumstances are the two sentences used?
