In this lesson it said to translate “Dad’s computer”. So I entered “La computadora de papá”. It said that is incorrect and should be “El ordenador de papá”. Can you help me understand why computadora would not be correct? Thank you!

how can i know when to use  the subjunctive or  the indicative with Lo + adjetivo + es que+ subjuntivo / indicativo for example lo importante /raro /bueo

Do we use' el que'  with subjunctive ?

vuelvo vs. volviendo    i thought iendo=ing     when the chicos vuelvan... they return.   isn't 'are returning' estan volviendo???

could you, please, explain why " mi corazón me iba a explotar/estalar" is not valid? I' ve always had a problem with this kind of expression.

In the test question: ¿Quién es ________ de tus amigos? (Who is the most generous of your friends?)

I incorrectly assumed that because "de tus amigos" doesn't specify the gender of "Quien es" in Spanish, that "lo" would be appropriate rather than "el" (correct answer). Because only the response can reveal the gender e.g. - "Carla es la más generosa de mis amigos" o "Jorge es el más generoso de mis amigos". In other words, why is "el" correct in this case even if the "quién es" might turn out to be female? (I did notice that the hint was "generous = generoso" but (falsely?) assumed it was being generic rather than specifying un amigo masculino).

Can you please clarify?
