Hi,
Qu 10
It is good that you read every night..........why does READ have to be in the subjuntive
I got this sentence in a quiz
No puedo ver _____ en la muchedumbre.
The answer was "a Paula y Cristina".
I notice that sometimes you put an a before every name, like "a Paula y a Cristina". Is this optional, or are there certain circumstances when the a is required before each person?
In the quiz, the statement was supposed to be correct: El director entregó un premio a los estudiantes.
However, the explanation seems to contradict that. Can you explain why?
It would be incorrect to use the pronoun with "a" on its own without the second short pronoun:
A mí diste muy poco dinero pero a ella diste mucho.¿A tí regalaron tus padres una moto el año pasado? To say sth is protected, are está and es interchangeable or is one preferred than the other?
Creo que los dos son correctos. Leo online que "a" se usa más en América y "en" es más común en España. Pero en "Love Story" (ejercicio de escribir - A1), se dice "entrar al bar" no es correcto! Solo "entrar en el bar". Porque?
Este video es muy informativo. Muchas gracias.
I’m confused between hace and hacía + time frame. Do you have a deep dive on this? Thanks
At first glance, I thought efectivo is an adjective (meaning effective) but it actually means cash. Is there an obvious ending to nouns in spanish like there is in english?
