Spanish Active Voice
The active voice is the most commonly used voice in both Spanish and English. It indicates that a subject is performing the action of its verb. When you learn how to conjugate a verb, you are learning the active voice conjugations.
For example

| El Pretérito Imperfecto | Nosotros estudiábamos español. | We were studying Spanish. |
| El Pretérito Indefinido | Nosotros estudiamos español. | We studied Spanish. |
| El Futuro Simple | Nosotros estudiaremos español. | We will study Spanish. |
| El Presente de Subjuntivo | Es importante que nosotros estudiemos español. | It's important for us to study Spanish. |
