My answer was: estan pensando
Test says, correct answer is: piensan
Isn't "estan pensando" more accurate here?
I answered this as "estan pidiendo"
But the exam says the right answer is "piden".
Isn't "estan pidiendo" more accurate answer?
I am confused by when to use éstas with a tilde and when not to. And would this sentence work without using either? Just saying ...zonas de ocio sino que también permiten a la población...
Además, las zonas verdes no son consideradas exclusivamente como zonas de ocio sino que éstas también permiten a la población estudiar horticultura. The answer says: Pasó dos días sumergido en plena naturaleza sin que nadie lo molestara enviándole mensajes o llamándolo.
Can you also say: Pasó dos días sumergido plena naturaleza sin que nadie le molestara enviándole mensajes o llamándole.
Is this Spain vs Latin America grammar? Also, in general, I thought molestar was an inverted verb like gustar and required "le."
I answered a question with Ustedes se curan and it was marked wrong. The correct answer was se curan without the ustedes. I don't understand why both answers aren't correct. In the conjugation table you have the option to use or not use the pronoun.
Me parece bastante torpe el uso de lo porque sabemos el sujeto. No deja de mostrar que esta institución como la que era, extraordinariamente cruel. (la institución es el sujeto). 😀
You use va a disfrutar. Should it have been van since you are referring to gente, multiple people?
In the quiz the answer was con Uds but I chose what I knew wasn't the right answer ustedes because the Uds would be capitalized in the middle of the sentence. I'm pretty sure that's not correct either. Anyway, I don't think we need these kind of trick questions. My thought is that is a poorly created test question. That said, I'm interested if one ever capitalizes Uds in the middle of a sentence or if the capitalized Uds is standard for the abbreviation of usted and I am wrong here.
