This kinda happens in uses.
to taste and know is about saber.. I guess I can use a dictionary. This is the first time I have noticed not much in the way of meaning is given. Has a very long entry in the dictionary.

Never mind, I figured out that "Notice how in Spanish we need to add "y" between the tens and the units (cincuenta y cuatro)" means the "y" is only after tens and not, say, for 3606.
Does this construction happen other places. If idiom maybe should be taught like that.
Why is it "las puertas y ventanas" and not "las puertas y las ventanas"? Usually Spanish seems to have two definite articles where English has only one.

Is it a standard phrase for "Me pregunto por qué pensé que era una buena idea?"
Would "en qué momento pensé que era una buena idea?"work?
Hello,
For hours around noon/midnight, in Spanish, is "mediodía" only used for noon sharp? Or is it also used with "menos/y + minutes"? For instance, for 12:30 PM, would you say "Es mediodía y media" or is it best to say "Son las doce y media"?
Same for "medianoche".
When is tiempo used?
