Hi guys! Love the site! I've been taught that Meter is to "put into", and Poner "to place" and are supposedly not interchangeable, so why did you use poner to "put the flowers IN the water"? (Always good to know these things! :-) )

Just to confirm - we say: me gusta el chocolate, and we also say me gusta comer chocolate?

We don't say me gusta comer el chocolate?

The definite article is always removed when we have the verb there?

Why can that not translate as "I like to dance" or must the "literal" option of "dancing is liked by me" then become "I like dancing".

If cuál  means "which" and the question is "which" flowers NOT "what" flowers when would cuál ever be used?  Tengo dos flores cuál  prefieres?

I did a search to find  a lesson to learn these terms, but could not find any.  I did see the word "lejos" in a list in the directions lesson, but nothing else.

Could you tell me 1) how to look for lessons (will just doing a search find these?) and what lesson you have that would encompass this. Thank you. Nicole

I have read through the explanations and have tested, but I really can't not differentiate the type of sentence between the two uses or concepts. Is there any other way to explain this, or some cue that might help me?
