I've been taught that this usage of the passive voice is discouraged in English, especially in formal writing, and especially when the active voice is easily possible. Is the same true in Spanish? Thank you!

Responsibility is misspelled in this sentence: to avoid some of the responsability for what is said

Estoy seguro de que cuando abriste esta tienda, no pensaste que llegaría el día en el que un cliente te daría un billete de mil dólares.

Despues de "no pensaba que" o "no pense que". Condicional o imperfecto de subjuntivo?

What is the word "estate"? Is it supposed to be "estarte"?

Is there a stronger emphasis when using para nada/en absoluto? Thank you

In this question (I waited for them), it appears to me that "them" is an indirect object pronoun. Below, Gruff, a Kwiziq team member says this. However, this question is answered by using a direct object pronoun. I got it wrong when I used the indirect pronoun. Which is it? I would appreciate having this clarified as I keep getting this question and I don't know how to answer it. Thanks,

I am curious about a couple of things in the phrase below:

no podíamos quitar carga a la bicicleta.

1) Why isn't there a la in front of carga?

2) How do I decide that a is the correct proposition to use for "from the bicycle"?  My first thought was to use de.  My second thought that the English wording " remove the resistance on the bike" hinted at en.  After seeing the answer, I considered the possibility that cargar may always be followed by a (by grammar rule).
