Question.. Im confused of what the ended should be based on?
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Forming regular plural masculine and feminine adjectives in Spanish "
Asked 2 weeks ago

Hola Rahnesha W.
Great question! In Spanish, the ending of the adjective (like -os or -as) is based on the noun it describes, not on the adjective itself. Adjectives need to match the noun in both gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural).
So, for example:
Los zapatos bonitos = The pretty shoes (masculine plural)
Las casas bonitas = The pretty houses (feminine plural)
If the noun is masculine and plural, the adjective should end in -os. If the noun is feminine and plural, it should end in -as.
Let the noun guide the form of the adjective every time.
Hope that clears it up!
Hasta pronto
Silvia
