Ojala+ present tense in subjunctive

I have a question.

Ojalá llegaran a tiempo a la estación para coger el tren que sale esta noche a las diez. (clearly referring to the future)

Here llegaran is subjunctive because of Ojala, but why is it sale (preterite) instead of saldre (future)?

The verb is using the present indicative in "...el tren que sale esta noche a las diez." because sometimes we use the present conveying a future action. You could also say "que saldrá esta noche a las diez". Here's a lesson about this particular use of the present for future actions.
