Thank you Inma for further clarification. I have enjoyed this site, but the one thing I would like to see in the lessons are these kind of comparisons. Just my recommendation. I do appreciate the work you do.
The sentence was "watch one of his movies" . I used "mira". The software Use "ve". Give me a break!!
Hi,
I have just completed a test which included the above.
I answered: Oyes tu (sorry, can't get accents to work), which was marked wrong.
Another question was: ¿..................... la chimenea? Two answers were given: Enciendes and Enciendes tu. This was marked nearly right.
Are the answers with 'tu' (or any other personal pronoun) not acceptable in Spanish? Is the only way to ask a question in Spanish to raise the tone at the end?
Look forward to your reply.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Colin
Why can't we use 'ricas' in place of 'deliciosas'?
Why can't we use 'hecho en casa' for homemade instead of casero/a?
Why do we use 'mucha fruta' and not 'mochas frutas' for a lot of fruits?
When do you use qué and when Cuál?
As per what I understood qué translates to what whereas Cuál translates to what or which.
Then , in the starting line, why can't it be Cuál... as in "Which (food) do you like...?"
When do you and when you don't use el/la/los/las?
I'm totally confused by this and always end up making the wrong choice.
