Use of vosotros vs ustedesWhen you are talking to a young person and mention another person who is older (and vice versa, speaking to an older person and mention a younger person), but refer to the people as you, which verb choice should you use, vosotros or ustedes?
Examples:
John (older person) and you (child) are going to the store tomorrow. How to translate You (both) are going to the store tomorrow (speaking to a child when the older person is not present)?
You (older person) and Maria (child) are going to the store tomorrow. How to translate You (both) are going to the store tomorrow (speaking to the older person when the child is not present)?
Also, does it matter which form is used (vosotros or ustedes) whether or not both people are present (both older person and child)?
Wouldn't "rosas" be the correct form of the adjective to go with "lámparas"?
Why Os hierve la sangre del estrés en el trabajo and not Os hervís la sangre del estrés en el trabajo
Hola Inma,
".... usar las tarjetas, ..... prevenir contagios"
can you, please, explain why do you use the article in the first case but not in the second? I thought articles in Spanish are used when talking in general, which apply in both cases (I think).
Muchas gracias

The question for this section was
Mr. Hernandez, would you like another glass of wine?
would you (formal) like = le gustaría
But then it asks to conjugate "querer" in El Presente. If this is so, then shouldn't the question be
Mr. Hernandez, do you want another glass of wine?
The answer for the blank was "quiere".

Hola Inma,
I can't understand the meaning of the phrase "lo suyo sería buscar un trabajo remoto". Can you, please explain?

Part of a sentence in the above exercise says "Donde se encerraba a los enemigos del castillo" Should encerraba not be plural i.e. encerraban? Is it singular because " a los enemigos" is indirect? I'm confused. Why not fueron encerrados?
I need to listen at a lower level than this. Can we go back to the beginning?
Why is it "soy feliz" and not "estoy"?
I would have written the correct answer but I thought I'd try using 'hermanita' is it sounded more loving to me. Would that be incorrect?
