El Día de la Independencia de Argentina

Spanish online reading and listening practice - level C1

Every July 9th, Argentina commemorates its Independence Day, marking the end of Spanish colonial rule and the birth of a sovereign nation.

This reading and listening exercise can help you practise using el imperfecto vs el indefinido, using dicho, dicha, dichos and dichas to say this/these (formal demonstrative adjectives) and using de lo más + adj to emphasise a quality or defect of someone/something (neutral article).

Text by Silvia Píriz and audio by an Argentinian voice professional.
