New Spanish Writing Challenge: Weekend in Barcelona (A2)

We have another NEW writing challenge for you this week: Weekend in Barcelona. (A2)

These are self-marked tests where you are given a text in English to write in Spanish. You’ll be shown any corrections to your text as well as model answers as you go and then you score yourself against them. Once you’ve completed the exercise, you can read and listen to the full text of our Spanish version, and you can view a list of grammar topics tested. Don’t forget you can add any of the lessons to your notebook(s) if you made mistakes during the exercises and then kwiz against them to strengthen the areas where you discovered you had weaknesses.

For the rest of this month, we will be publishing a new writing challenge every week. This time we offer you an A2-level writing challenge, then each week the difficulty will increase by one level. Regular writing challenges will be a premium feature, that means only Kwiziq Premium subscribers will have access to them, but this month all our challenges are free!

All feedback welcome!

Please note that we are always working to improve our system but if you do encounter the occasional bug or glitch, please let us know about these so that we can get them fixed asap. As always, screenshots and information about your system (OS and browser, including versions) is extremely helpful. We’d also love to know what you think about the new challenges: good, bad or indifferent.

Already on our improvement list:

  • Eliminate need to include speakers’ names in dialogs
  • Ongoing improvement to the correction algorithm
  • Option to turn off corrections

If you have questions please post them under the most suitable grammar topic (if it’s related to a specific point), or on the Q&A forum for general questions.
