Alejandro Fernández is a Mexican singer and one of the best-selling Latin music artists, having sold over 20 million records. Alejandro’s father is Vicente Fernández, a well-known singer of rancheros who gave the young Alejandro his first stage appearances. Alejandro started his musical career with more traditional Mexican music before turning to a more pop sound. In the video below, Alejandro is singing México lindo y querido, a mariachi and ranchera song that was often sung by his father and was written by Chucho Monge.
